Ingresso in grande stile nel business del piccolo elettrodomestico per lndesit company. Ieri la multinazionale marchigiana della famiglia Merloni ha siglato con Illycaffè un accordo per la realizzazione e distribuzione della linea di macchine espresso per la casa “Hotpoint forilly”,basate sul sistema Iperespresso di Illy e la tecnologia e il design Hotpoint. Illycaffe è già presente nel settore con le macchine della Mitaca, società nel cui capitale è entrata nel 2008, ma la partnership con Indesit le consente di entrare capillarmente nelle grandi catene dell’elettronica. L’ingresso di Indesit nei piccoli elettrodomestici procederà gradualmente e in tre anni dovrebbe arrivare a un fatturato europeo stimato intorno ai 100 milioni grazie a bollitori, robot chef, minipimer, ferri da stiro, aspirapolveri. «L’operazione è una novità- sottolinea Andrea Merloni, ‘presidente di Indesit Company – che permette a Indesit company di iniziare ad allargare il proprio perimetro d’azione. La scelta del marchio Hotpointè dovuta all’alto livello di innovazione e all’eccellenza delle prestazioni che lo caratterizzano nel mondo dei grandi elettrodomestici».
